The novel is pretty one way and there's quite the use of young master cliche which is made bearable because of how the interactions are written, otherwise it's just like another cultivation novel with main focus on getting stronger along with a crude system. I'm 230+ chapters in and the story progressed a little only recently, hopefully it'll get better.

I read the manhua and didn't like it that much bbcuz of its common plot but now that I see it's top 6, is it one of the novels with boring start but gets better further in the story?? I'll give it a read if it's worth it
It's actually a good read, not a masterpiece deserving top 10 but definitely top 50. The overall plot is cliche but the author made changes into that cliche for the better. Quite enjoyable and definitely better than the manhwa.
I am 50 chapters in and I very much enjoyed the story so far. I usually skim through early chapters but I read and absorbed everything from the very beginning, it was just that good imo.
