    A "romantic subplot" being together with "dense protagonist" tag screams a yellow flag to me. How bad is it? I'd rather read no romance at all rather than this b*llsh*t "dense protagonist"

    dang i remember writing paragraphs of complaints here before the great reset. tbh no matter hm I disliked the patriotism remarks of the author, this is the only novel that motivates me when it comes to studying lmf**. i want that kind of a plug-in too.

      It really makes me take 2 steps back, trying to understand if it's the protagonist or some random character from the work... Either way, it doesn't seem like a fun read

        It's the entire mindset of the novel, really. Tho if you get past everyone in the novel constantly proving how Chinese are the best people on the face of the planet, it's a pretty good read

    I've read this novel twice now and I really like the character development and how the protagonist's learning system works. Furthermore, as it is based on advanced science and technology, it is far from the traditional cheating systems I have read about. In my opinion, the novel leaves a little to be desired, but I understand that this was not the main objective of the work, so the author left it aside. I strongly recommend reading.

    this novel is good, it was one of the few that I read it all and quickly, the chapters are not long and it talks a little about the application of mathematics in life, there is the part of the university where it talks about research. English is not my language, sorry for any mistakes.

      I just want to say that its this guy's definition of 'not long' because unless you have time to read 100+ chapters consistently each day its going to take you more than 2 weeks. And if you go to school, are busy with some kind of work/project or just don't read at all on some days this will keep you busy for longer than a month. Plus it won't always be easy to just push through some chapters that are kind of like... "rest stops" between arcs... kind of.
