WPC July 2023 Winner.
When the Demons and Angels of the 99th floor detected a threat to their reign, they teamed up to topple the man who'd placed them in such a situation.
The Lord of Sins, a walking calamity of the Heaven's Spire, had put pressure on the transcendents no mortal had ever done.
However, before the Lord of Sins could revolt against their reign, the Demons and Angels decided to nip the threat in the bud.
Manipulating his clanmates, using other clans, controlling fate...
They used all powers available to them in an attempt to halt the advance of the Lord of Sins. Eventually, it worked, and the Lord of Sins fell from grace.
But it wasn't a happy ending for the vicious transcendents.
"I'll return one day, stronger than ever and as a force even you can't touch! I'll become the Lord of Sins again!"
The man returned to the past with a goal in mind.
Everything else was just an interference.
"Return of The Strongest Player" is a gripping tale of a man's ascendance. His journey back to the pinnacle of strength, the adversities blocking his path, and the comrades he eventually acknowledged.

Time to fall down the rabbit hole again...hehehe :)
If you are looking for the definition of the word generic then the synopsis is the actual extract of it from the english dictionary. The title is the brief version of it. Jesus christ! Can korean authors get together and add a few more words to their collective english lexicon othet than returner, player, tower, and gods on the 99th floor? ... Just to clarify. Im being sarcastic if it wasn't obvious. I have no qualms with a used wheel unless it does not work. Lets hope this one good
poster looks dope. let's hope novel is worth reading.
remind me hero return still don't like the ending of that novel
The premise, although clichΓ©, seemed interesting. But the MC is totally artificial. Years of fighting in the tower, he somehow accumulated power and friends, perhaps even a guild, but was betrayed when he died when he returned to his 18th birthday. But he acts like a retarded teenager. Apparently 42 years of life and 0 personal evolution. The author even randomly mentions that he has never had a relationship with a woman, as if that is what makes someone a coherent person in life. The premise is really interesting, but the development is completely dismissible.
The synopsis reminds me of "Lucifer" from Second Life Ranker
Reasons i felt this novel was not good mc is childish with a cliche protagonistic thinking picks fights easily brash and acts before he thinks fight scenes are bland[end in a single chapter] (one part i where i pretty much gave up on this novel was when he revealed his regression to a complete stranger after meeting him for like 5 mins) and till where i read the story was pretty much full of cliche scenarios
No romance and Harem! count me in! ~ hmm but i think it won't be as different from the others
Can someone help me explain why did they destroy Arcaida Academy? Thats the part where I just don't get it because at the end when the mc crimson - eyed man asked why he said something about Dune
