At Chapter 2660. I dropped this novel and I was also glad that I didn't spend any money on webnovel for support. Reasons: 1. Too much cash/money grab chapters. Many chapters just contains description of a pokemon. That's just it. Just description FOR THE WHOLE CHAPTER. 2. MC plot. Somehow because of protagonist oh goody goody luck, he became OP and can fight way above his real grade. Just ruined the apocalyptic event. 3. MC or author even dared to belittle the dreams of his group who are just LITERAL KIDS! tsk. (around chapter 2650 i think) A hypocrite MC. Without Morbious. he wouldn't be anything. 4. Some forgotten important supporting characters. Auntie and Uncle Zhang. He didn't even visit them nor healed them when they were the ones supporting him and his sister when he was a cripple. 5. Lots of nonsense chapters most especially 2660. Wtf. MC's master says he contributed a lot but can't be an envoy because it doesn't matter. LOL! And a lot more reasons. Ran out word counts
too many plot lines, too much hype, too much buildup, too much info... all the op pokemons end up with the mc... dropped it around the time he starts taking over the main world and has subjugated the 3 major federations... the attack phenomena and the character nicknames/titles, countries in the world are all first class.. but, if the unnecessary info is taken out, the novel per the context of chapter count would not exceed 750-850 chapters... the author's milking the plot... would not recommend..
I am quitting for many reasons. Too much personal pets 15+ Too much subordinates 20+ Too much abilities 100+ Too much story lines that were started but haven’t paid off yet (I’m at like 2400 and the things he starts in the 1-1000 chapters haven’t even been born except from some minor things.) I feel like this novel would benefit from a wipe. Like when Meng Hao fake died or when other mc’s lose cultivation. So many buildups that it feels so tiring reading it. It would also benefit from time skips sometimes a month in the novel takes thirty-100 chapters like why are we getting 3 or more chapters for a day! Feels like he is leveling up so fast yet so slow. good ability, but way wayyy to much filler, some bullshiet poison beauty fight at 357 goes on till 361, that's just for fighting some random chick who doesn't even make a contribution to the story
I stopped at 2400. At this point it lost it’s heart that I loved so much like the simple connections with the cat and the bird.. i miss those. Can anyone tell me if the author start putting effort again its starting to feel like unparalled after 10 consecutive draws
The time flow is very slow. Fortunately there are some time skips in later chapters. story is becoming interesting but why contact so many fays if you're not going to use any of them. Like he hasn't used any fays expect riding blackie after major federation meeting. Oh I remember he used his devil to help begin lady , that's all. . In later parts (after chap 2000) it has become more of a kingdom building than pet fighting and why the hell everyone submit to him so easily, are there no one in the entire world who have a few screws loose.
I really adore the early portions of this novel, mostly everything roughly before ch. 1,000. I also mostly enjoy the middle portions, the chapters between 1,000 and 2,000, although problems begin to crop up. After chapter 2,000 I really struggle to appreciate the story or MC even though it still has good moments. Early novel has strong emotional themes of kinship and bonds, but this slowly starts to fade out as the story progresses in favor of mindless data sheets and internal monologues. The MC is very headstrong and constantly gets into troubles he needs to be conveniently saved from by Morbius, which is okay early on, at least there's consequences early on where Morbius needs to sleep and needs to be evolved to wake up. Later on, he can just protect MC from anything scot-free. Also, the latest portions of the novel have heavy emphasis on external power. All of MC's strength comes from external figures he helped with endless resources who swore loyalty or want to repay him, LOL.
This one is good but i read it before in mtl gonna start again mwahahah.
