lol, I was just going through all the novels in ranking, what the f*ck is this 5000+ chapters
Say anything you want, but this is actually a cultivation novel done "correctly" imo. Although the story obviously isn't perfect and it's a bit repetative, the level of world building and overall imagination of the author really makes up for it. Most people complain about MC: that he doesn't have much backstory, he's arrogant or just any other average chinese novel's characteristics. Yet I really liked the mysteriousness of the book. I think that it's the reason why such book could contain 5000 chapters - Backstory isn't limiting it. Which means that the author is free to add anything he wants. Sometimes the book got boring, monotone or repeated but after a while it escalated back again into a really interesting book. So if you are looking for a long, nice story which isn't top-tier but definitely good then I recommend this book. Also this comes from a person who had read these 5000 chapters a while back. Probably I will reread this, since I remember really enjoying reading it.

I can’t believe I’ve (on and off) read over 5000 chapters of this vague( no backstory, no character story, rinse and repeat, throwaway interactions), trope laden, pseudo-philosophical mumbojumbo. Hell, in the later chapters he meets old friends after millions(?) of years and their is nothing. No 1 or 2 chapters dedicated to catching up, learning about what those missing chapters have been up to… nothing. There are also many times when he meets old characters and the author doesn’t even mention their name, just a smirk from Li Qiye, some forgettable comments and again… nothing.
Can anyone tell me when he finishes the 10 worlds or something arc. And what happens pls . Im tired of that arc already
if you read this before, dont worry it doesnt matter cause it just keeps repeating the same trope and hes gonna eventually restart again and again and again
This novel doesn’t get enough credit for being PEAK at face slapping, PEAK at FILLERS, PEAK at mc strength etc.
I might come back to finish this novel if I don't have anything to read,since I stopped reading it a few years ago
Ngl I never would have thought this would make it anywhere near top 100. This thing is basically competing with MGA for time waster
if you wanna start something and come back and enjoy every once in a while this is a great choice. However you have to come back frequently or you will basically forget all the context... which is fine because characters rotate in and out like crazy but ehh. I would only recommend it to people who wanna waste their time and if you want to sample the insane sh*t that this author cooks up (10/10 novel if your waiting for shadow slave or smth, 7.5/10 otherwise)
