Great novel, very good translation as well. The long pauses between updates are annoying, but the quality more than makes up for it. I hope this translation doesn't get canceled, I REALLY don't want to have to go to mtl.
If you're looking for great fights and action then this novel is for you. The mc is absurdly strong but still there are many stronger than him. The translator did mess up the skill names here and there, changing them all the time, but the novel itself is top-tier.
I have read some chapters and it is a very good novel. The main character is meticulous in his methods to advance in stages and uses his knowledge well.
A great read. Although it may be a bit repetitive, with constant tower climbing and fights, it is still an enjoyable read. The Skills ideas are unique, especially addition and multiply(too op), with the possibility of gaining even absurd and unique Skills. The plot also progresses smoothly and the author also clearly distinguishes power levels between different Tower Modes and monster Rank in the upcoming chapter.
I enjoy this book! it's a great read and exactly the type of progression that keeps me going! I wish there was more written. im interested in how the story will unfold.
At first I thought this novel was not fun, but as time went on I felt that the story or things developed in a better way and became quite interesting.
Great story, it is a bit of a power fantasy but it is well written. The power scaling is a bit weird, and the rate of progression is a bit fast. My only nitpick is the fact that the author keeps changing the names of skills ON THE SAME GOSH DARN CHAPTER! No offense but how do you screw that up. Every time I read through a chapter he gains a skill and then 5 seconds later it renamed the same skill. It makes for a struggle to understand what is going on and if the author changes it between multiple chapters then you have absolutely no clue what is going on when he activates the skill, even though it was explained beautifully in the previous chapter. It’s not a must read or an innovative new thing but it is quite good would recommend. Would give 3. 5 stars but as that is not an option I chose 4.
Tl;DR:Pretty much another Korean "dungeon crawler". Checklist: 1. Game System — check. 2. Tower with 100 levels — check 3. Gods trials and blessings — check 4. MC going back in time — check 5. Cheat ability that allows to Steal/Devour/Copy enemy skills — check 6. MC being overpowered and therefore bored of going through tower — check 7. Harem of overpowered elf/angel/devil girls — Strangely no check. Overall, it's decent read, if you want to relax and not think about anything, but nothing unique and impressive. Writing is a bit worse than "tutorial is to hard" or "Moon Labyrinth" or "Seol Station Necromancer" and a lot weaker than stuff like "Solo Leveling". Novel becomes very repeatative in just 30-40 chapters. Also it feels like author using "System messages" like word count fillers: some chapters especially in first 30 basicly repeat the same system message for half of a chapter.
World building, decent, plot, decent, characters, eh, not really in-depth, but they aren’t flat characters, something in between flat and round. Writing and pacing good. Everything is what I would describe as above average, with the sole exception of the damned status windows. Too cluttered, it’s just an entire paragraph, making the readability of it terrible. Translation wasn’t consistent as well, skill names got changed a few times making it a bit confusing. Other than that, I enjoyed it quite a bit, no huge drama or complicated stuff that overloaded my brain and drained my mental energy, just a very relaxing, straightforward and rather enjoyable action novel.
This is a good novel with an intriguing and creative story. The protagonist is the typical character extremely strong and exceptional. The way skills are acquired is very interesting. Of course, this novel may not be incredible, but it deserves a solid 7/10 rating.
Could you list an example? I haven't noticed anything like that.
