Summary

On the way to a company workshop, we fell into a world of immortal cultivators while still in the car.

Those with spiritual roots and unique abilities were all called to join cultivation sects, living prosperously.

That’s what I thought.

Until I regressed.

I came here after some people were comparing this MC with the MC of 'Kill the Sun' after the latest chapter got updated. They said the MC in this novel is very mature (in behavior), which is why I came here. The rank of this novel plus the rating is d*mn good. I would like to read this, just that the Tragedy tag is making me hesitant. Can someone tell if it's worth reading or not, regardless of this tag? And yeah, is this Yaoi (from the cover), because I am not into this BL stuff?

NOT BL, there is romance, and it's not really harem

Y'all were clowning me for saying it's repetitive. What Im Saying is not that everything's the same, clearly it's regression. What I meant is the author recycles the same formula for events. They don't have to be the same from different regressions. But he uses the same arc formula for everything. That's what's repetitive, how the events are progressed

He's not entirely wrong. I still really enjoy it but you can't deny the repetitions. Like the number of times he is bottlenecked and then sacrifices his life to learn the next technique as he dies, the way the cycles work etc.

We're clowning you cuz that's what a time loop story is. You go through the same events but discover new paths, events, and information unknown from before. Besides the story isn't even that repetitive with each arc being distinctively different so idk what you're complaining about. If you really think the author is using the same formula, maybe extrapolate by giving examples? If it's something basic as the cultivation genre in general than what do you expect? It's a time loop cultivation story lol. It's in the title.

It's the same formula the author uses in every arc.

Before you dislike my comment, hear me out. The story is very interesting early on, but I don't understand how anyone can enjoy cultivation stories when the premise is that there is an infinite path to the top. Because it's fun at first, but there ALWAYS being someone stronger, and someone stronger than them, etc, is very tiresome. It makes you wonder if there is a point to any of this. Frogs in a well, in a well, in a well, in a well...

The path isn’t infinite. It ends when the author wants it to end. I start these types of novels hoping that the author ends it on a high and doesn't drag it on till the heat death of the universe.

You could say it's not about the destination, but the journey that makes the experience. Of course some execute that premise in cultivation novels better than others.

The story is not always about being the strongest and even if it is, it's sometimes exciting to see protagonist's journey to the top.

Definitely one of the best cultivation novels by far. Wish we had more novels that attempted to focus on quality writing rather than face slapping through each stage. The enlightenment aspect is also well thought out, it feels like actual progress.
